Chris Jones’ Martial Arts Academy is based in Knaresborough. Classes are available 6 days a week with lessons in freestyle Taekwando and kickboxing. At CJMAA their goal is to make Martial Arts accessible to all and they do this by offering class types ranging from adult kickboxing to child classes and ladies only sessions. Harrogate Fencing Club (HFC) is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) run by a committee of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. The club boasts in excess of 100 members ranging in ability from junior and adult beginners to social fencers and International athletes competing on the European and World circuits.
Wheelchair fencing is very much an integral part of the club. Both junior and seniors, of all levels, are actively encouraged to take part in this programme. This form is fantastic for the improvement of blade work and hand speed.
