1st Knaresborough Scouts is a local scout group. It offers Beaver, Cub and Scout group activities to over 70 local children aged between 6 & 14.

Good Company is a members club for unattached people, male and female, who are in their 50s, 60s and 70s -people like you who wish to broaden their social circles with others who have similar interests.
Once a member,an extensive list of carefully selected events will be sent to you. All you have to do is simply choose which events you would like to attend. The activities and events they offer are group based so you can feel safe and secure. From the moment you arrive at your event, your host will introduce to your fellow guests so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Harrogate Fencing Club (HFC) is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) run by a committee of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. The club boasts in excess of 100 members ranging in ability from junior and adult beginners to social fencers and International athletes competing on the European and World circuits.
Both junior and seniors, of all levels, are actively encouraged to take part in this programme. Wheelchair fencing is an integral part of the club. This form is fantastic for the improvement of blade work and hand speed.

Knaresborough Choral Society is a community choir for the beautiful town of Knaresborough. They currently have about 80 members and perform three concerts every year – at Christmas and Easter they sing major choral works and in Summer they perform a more informal concert.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9.30pm in Gracious St. Methodist Church

Knaresborough Cricket Club established in 1815. It has a long history as a friendly club for juniors and seniors who want to get involved in this competitive, British sport. They have regular fixtures and other events throughout the year.

Knaresborough Golf course continually invests in a beautiful Hawtree-designed course. Lots of recent changes make it a truly superb golfing challenge.
New drainage ditches have been integrated into the design, adding to the playing experience and keeping the course open in all but the most unpleasant conditions.

Knaresborough Striders aims to bring together people to enjoy the delights of ‘striding’ – be that walking, jogging or running. The club supports those who want to get started, get faster or go for longer!
Since its establishment in 2012, the club has continued to grow with a current membership currently in excess of 170.
They meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Knaresborough Cricket Club from 7.15pm, striding out at 7.30pm in groups to suit all ages and abilities, with coached training sessions available most Tuesdays.

Leeds Symphony Orchestra is a non-professional orchestra based in Leeds, Yorkshire. They have a membership of around 80 players and have regular performances in Headingley, Horsforth, Wetherby and Knaresborough.

Little Pastures Trekking Centre is situated on a quiet yard on the outskirts of Knaresborough. We offer lessons, local hacks, day rides and riding holidays in the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. Their stables consist of nine horses and eleven ponies suitable for riders of all ages and abilities.
Little Pastures also developed a cross-country field and showjumping area in 2009, perfect for more advanced lessons.
