Ex-England and Huddersfield Giants star, Eorl Crabtree, will be donning his rugby boots once more as he takes on a host of Yorkshire organisations as part of a one-off, five-a-side touch rugby tournament for charity this September.

Eorl will be joined by fellow ex-professional rugby players including sports pundit and ex-England and Leeds Rhinos player Danika Priim as well as former rugby union player and coach Anthony Andrews. They’ll be taking centre stage at outdoor business event the Late Summer Show, which is being hosted by semi-retired Hull prop Charlie Beech’s company, Front Row Support.

Front Row Support is an outsourced business development company which harnesses Charlie’s own experience in professional sport and applies it to companies’ new business strategies. He also runs networking events with the intention of ultimately building hubs across the Yorkshire region to help great businesses and individuals grow successfully.

Charlie’s number one goal is to aid the transition of ex-sporting professionals into business, leveraging the skill sets they’ve gained through their game to maximise their opportunities to succeed...

He says: “We’re thrilled to be able to have such a terrific lineup of ex-England and regional talent at our event. We have a variety of local organisations which have formed teams taking part and it’s going to be great fun for all involved – especially for the spectators! And, of course, it’s all for charity.”

Eorl adds; “Charlie’s enthusiasm and commitment both when playing rugby and now as a successful entrepreneur is unwavering. Since I transitioned from rugby, I have worked hard to set up my own property development firm amongst other things and having a community of like-minded individuals and professionals that you can turn to for support, no matter what their journey, is vital. The work Front Row is doing through events such as this is so beneficial in strengthening valuable connections.
